In a series of powerful distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks just a few hours ago, Anonymous has shut down the official website of Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK). Ghost Squad, the group said to be behind this attack works with the online hacktivist Anonymous. The reason for attacking the KKK is the “blunt racism” in the name of free speech. The Instagram feature called as ‘Private Story Likes’ will now allow users to like someone’s photo/video shared on Instagram Stories without sending them a direct DM. For those unaware, earlier, on Sunday morning, the LAPSUS$ gang had posted a file holding nearly 37GB of data stolen from Microsoft’s Azure DevOps Server and claimed that it contained partial source code for Bing, Cortana, and other projects. “No customer code or data was involved in the observed activities. Our investigation has found a single account had been compromised, granting limited access. Our cybersecurity response teams quickly engaged to remediate the compromised account and prevent further activity,” explained Microsoft in a blog post....

As spotted by Windows Latest, the issue was mainly reported on printers such as Kyocera, Ricoh, and Zebra, although some have experienced the issue while using other printers. Microsoft has confirmed the issue exists in cumulative updates KB5000802 (OS Builds 19041.867 and 19042.867), KB5000808 (OS Build 18363.1440), KB5000809 (OS Build 17134.2087), and KB5000822 (OS Build 17763.1817). The affected versions of Windows 10 include Windows 10 version 1803 to 20H2, and Windows Server versions 1803, Windows Server 2019, 1809, 1909, 20034, and 20H2....

As spotted by Reddit user Leopeva64-2, the experimental feature is currently in Edge Canary but only for select Edge Insiders as part of a controlled rollout. The new Workspaces feature in Edge allows users to create a new workspace, rename Windows, assign colors to them for easy identification, or delete it. New Patent This report comes on the basis of a new patent filed by Microsoft that could potentially allow it to block content being shared without the copyright holder’s permission. If true, this action could snip the problem of unauthorized content sharing right at the root. Microsoft’s patent relies on fingerprint recognition to identify the source of these illegal files and block them. Along with blocking these files, users who frequently share files without authorization could end up being singled out and punished....
